b. If fully cataloged, add holdings and route per normal added issues/volumes procedures. Indicate on the Africana cataloging slip that the title had already been cataloged, and return the slip to Africana.
c. If call number is In Process, add issue to Africana backlog in Serials Cataloging. Indicate on the Africana cataloging slip that the title is already In Process, and return the slip to Africana.
d. If the call number is Sample File, go to step D.2.
2. If not found, continue with step B.

C. Create a holdings record
1. Use the following 852 information:

D. Add volume/issue holdings
1. Add 899 field(s) for all volumes/issues recieved. Use first indicator 1 for periodicals, 0 for annuals/irregulars.
2. Add 866 field(s) for annual/irregular volumes.
3. Do not make item records for annuals/irregulars.
E. Route to Africana
1. Do not stamp periodical issues.
2. Write the Voyager bib record number at top of the Africana cataloging form.
3. If steps B-C were followed to create a new record, include a printout of the bib record with the Africana cataloging form.
4. Route issues (and form/printout) to Africana.
