D.J. Hoek, Head of the Music Library, has been named a “Distinguished Alumnus” by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan.

At a recent IT division meeting, staff took time out to congratulate Dave Anderson and Vince McCoy on their many years of service to the Library.

Vince, Technical Support Consultant in Library Information Technology Services, celebrated his 30th anniversary, while Dave, Software Engineer in the Digital Library Systems Development department, celebrated his 20th.

We welcome Geoffrey Morse to the Library as the newest reference and instruction librarian in the Reference Department.

We are very happy to welcome Jeremy Abbott to the Collection Management office. He is the new administrative and bibliographic assistant. Jeremy's first day at the Library was September 1.

The outgoing NULSA officers would like to thank all those who volunteered their time and energy to help with various NULSA activities in the past year.

The MARC Department is thrilled to announce that Richard Rose has returned to Northwestern University Library to work as a Senior Acquisitions Assistant/Bibliographic Editor. Previously he worked in our own Interlibrary Loan Department, and before that as an inventory supervisor at Borders, both in Highland Park, Illinois and Lawrence, Kansas.
