Have first dibs on literary treasures, old and new, today at the Library Book Sale's special Staff Library Day. Today's sale runs until 4 p.m. and is held in the Ver Steeg Faculty Lounge on the 3rd floor.

On March 31, 20 Library staff members took a half-day outing to the Center for Research Libraries (CRL) in Chicago.

The principal purpose of this field trip was to visit the new JSTOR print archive that CRL is creating on behalf of its membership, and which Northwestern intends to support on a large scale.

Thanks again to all who organized, presented, and participated in a very successful Enrichment Day on March 23, 2005.

Eli Brooke has been appointed department assistant in the Circulation Services Department.

On Monday, March 21, Justin Homer began working at Main Library as the security coordinator.
