April 24—Thursday—Library Security and Safety Presentation—2-3 pm, Forum Room.
Led by John Brdecka and Suzette Radford, this workshop covers the basics of how to deal with safety and security situations you might encounter on the job: an awkward situation with a patron, a power outage at work, walking to your car at night. Registration suggested.
May 5—Monday—NULSA’s Fabulous Wine-and-Staff Pairing Event—3:30-5 pm, Ver Steeg Lounge
You and the NUL staffer of your choice pair up to bring a food, and a beverage specially paired with that food. Full details are on SharePoint. Sign up ASAP on SharePoint or the bulletin board in the staff lounge.
