ARC Acquires Betsy Allen

The Acquisitions and Rapid Cataloging department welcomes Betsy Allen as its new Gifts Coordinator. Before coming to NUL, Betsy worked at the Chicago Botanic Garden to preserve native plant seeds from all over the Midwest. She has a BS from the University of Wisconsin, and earned her MS in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences from the University of Nevada.

Currently, Betsy is enrolled in the LEEP program at the University of Illinois Graduate School of Library and Information Science. In addition to pursuing her degree, Betsy enjoys cooking and a variety of outdoor sports.
