Robert Carroll appointed Circulation Supervisor at SEL
The Seeley G. Mudd Library for Science and Engineering welcomes Robert Carroll.
I am very pleased to report that Robert Carroll began as Circulation Supervisor at SEL on October 14. Before arriving at Northwestern, Robert held an almost identical position at the Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Besides his library experience, he has owned a successful music store in Hawaii.
His wife, Elina Gertsman, is a new faculty member in the Art History Department at the University of Chicago, her first faculty position since finishing her doctorate on medieval art at Boston University.
Robert looks forward to becoming involved in library activities and interacting with other library staff.
He replaces Aida Basarudin-Pigott, who left in September to pursue a master's degree in social welfare at the University of Chicago.
I am delighted to welcome Robert to SEL and to the Library.
