Library Information Technology Support Services (LITSS) is a support organization of the Northwestern University Library Information Technology Division (ITD). The mission of LITSS is to deliver advanced information technology and superior technical support to its constituents: staff/librarians, researchers and students for research, instruction, administration and public service in support the Library’s mission.
In support of this mission, the goals of LITSS are to:
- Provide exceptional and proactive technical leadership and support for the Northwestern University Library’s server / desktop / storage infrastructure.
- Respond to our constituents in a timely and effective manner, providing referrals to other services where appropriate.
- Recruit, develop and retain LITSS staff of the highest quality.
- Constantly strive to exceed expectations though our professionalism, courtesy, consistency and commitment to excellence.
