Other Emergencies Affecting Patrons (violent crimes, medical emergencies, theft, or suspicious behavior)

1. If the emergency is life-threatening or currently in progress, call 911.
   
2. If the emergency does not appear to be life-threatening and is not currently in progress, call UNIVERSITY POLICE at 456 from a campus phone or 847-491-3456 from a cellular phone.
   
3. Call LIBRARY ADMINISTRATION at 847-491-7640 (1-7640 from a campus phone) on weekdays before 5 p.m. If no reply, page LIBRARY FACILITIES MANAGER at 847-335-1808. On weekdays after 5 p.m. and on weekends, page LIBRARY SECURITY at 847-467-5191 (7-5191from a campus phone.) When paging, enter your phone number and a # sign after the beeps, then hang up.
