ACADEMIC LIAISON SERVICES AT NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY LIBRARY

Northwestern University Library's academic liaison librarians are subject specialists who serve as the primary contacts between the library and an academic department, program, or group of scholars with special needs in common.  Liaisons offer numerous specialized services, including discipline-specific research consultations, information about topics in scholarly communication (for example, copyright), library instruction, and general information on library services.  Liaisons also develop and manage specific subject collections, and they may be contacted directly for questions about these collections.
